The second National Rural Revitalization Vocational Skills Competition opened on the 8th in Guiyang City, Guizhou Province. State Councilor Chen Yiqin attended the opening ceremony and announced the opening. Chen Yiqin visited the exhibition of rural craftsmanship skills, infant care and elderly care competition projects on site, emphasizing the need to accelerate the cultivation and cultivation of skilled personnel in the field of rural revitalization, fully leverage the leading and demonstrative role of vocational skills competitions, and use skill improvement to help rural revitalization. The theme of this competition is "showcasing skills and promoting rural revitalization", with the goal of "simplicity, greenery, safety, and uniqueness". There are 11 competition projects, including masonry, agricultural machinery repair, elderly care, infant care, e-commerce, and 2 performance projects, including hand embroidery and hand weaving. The competition is hosted by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and the People's Government of Guizhou Province. A total of 32 delegations from various provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the central government, and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps participated in the competition, with over 700 participants participating in the national finals. At the same time, activities such as the experience exchange of rural revitalization skill enhancement projects and the skill display and exchange of "Skills China Tour 2024- Entering Guizhou" will also be held.
