The Spring Festival holiday has come to an end, and children's daily routine and diet are inevitably affected and become disordered during the holiday. Some children may experience symptoms such as sore throat, dry stool, yellow urine, oral ulcers, grinding teeth, eye droppings, breathing, nosebleeds, and other "fire" symptoms. Children are prone to illness due to internal heat and wind cold. Experts from the Tuina Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in the city recommend several massage methods to the public to help children relieve heat. Children's excessive heat mainly includes food fire, lung fire, and heart and liver fire. "Eating fire" is mainly due to the immature spleen and stomach of children, and their digestive and absorption functions are not yet sound. A slight improper diet can lead to food accumulation. During the Spring Festival, children's spleen and stomach are often in an overloaded state, with too much food gathering in the gastrointestinal tract, accumulating but not dissipating, and accumulating heat to become "food fire". This can lead to bad breath, dry stools, mouth sores, grinding teeth, toothache, night sweats, and flipping back and forth during sleep; "Lung fire" is mainly caused by children following adults to visit relatives and friends, and going out to play during festivals. During festivals, there is a large temperature difference between indoor and outdoor, with high temperatures on the same day. If children wear more clothes and are dry in winter, they are prone to symptoms such as nosebleeds, dry and itchy nose, hot hands and feet, sore throat, cough, and dry stool; "Heart and liver fire are strong" mainly due to irregular sleep patterns during the Spring Festival, resulting in late sleep and waking up. In addition, children with excess heart and liver can often cause symptoms such as rubbing their eyes, having a lot of eye droppings, swelling of wheat grains, red tongue tips, yellow urine, restless sleep, irritability, night terrors, frequent nightmares, and restlessness. If a child has symptoms of excessive heat, some massage methods can be used to relieve the heat.
