The number of registered clinical trials of drugs in China has reached 4300 within a year. Relevant departments encourage further improvement of the convenience of volunteers participating in clinical trials and require continuous strengthening of standardized management throughout the entire process. Clinical trials are systematic trials targeting the human body, aimed at determining drug safety and efficacy, and are related to the supply of medical services such as new drugs and therapies. The Annual Report on the Progress of Clinical Trials for New Drug Registration in China shows that the total annual registration of clinical trials for drugs in China was 3358 in 2021, 3410 in 2022, and 4300 in 2023, with a continuous increase in quantity.
