Macau, China and Kazakhstan sign a visa exemption agreement

The signing ceremony of the Mutual Visa Exemption Agreement between the Government of the Macao Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held in Macau on April 9th. Zhang Yongchun, Director of the Administrative and Legal Department of the Macau SAR Government, and Mr. Shakhrat Nuryshev, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to China, respectively signed the agreement on behalf of both parties. After the above agreement takes effect, Macau residents holding valid Macau SAR passports can enter Kazakhstan without a visa and stay for a maximum of 14 days. Holders of valid passports from Kazakhstan can also enter the Macau Special Administrative Region without a visa and stay for a maximum of 14 days. At that time, 146 countries or regions will agree to grant visa free or visa on arrival treatment to Macau SAR passport holders. (Lai Xin She)
