Skerrit made the above statement at the reception celebrating the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Dominican government and the Chinese Embassy in Toronto. He said that many parties are willing to work with China to promote the building of a China multi destiny community, promote the implementation of the global development initiative, the global security initiative and the global civilization initiative, strengthen cooperation in various fields under the "the Belt and Road" framework, and promote the development of bilateral relations with deeper cooperation. Skerrit said that since the establishment of diplomatic relations, the two countries have closely cooperated in various fields such as infrastructure, healthcare, agriculture, and education, achieving fruitful results.
