Concise Local History of Inner Mongolia was recently published by the People's Publishing House. The book has a total of more than 210000 words and is divided into five chapters, namely, Inner Mongolia from ancient times to the Qin and Han Dynasties, Inner Mongolia from the Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties to the Sui and Tang Dynasties, Inner Mongolia from the Liao, Song, Xia, Jin and Yuan Dynasties, Inner Mongolia from the Ming to the middle of the Qing Dynasty, and Inner Mongolia from the late Qing to the Republic of China.
