The Syrian military said on the 7th that Israel attacked Latakia port in Northwest Syria in the early morning of the same day, causing multiple containers to catch fire. Syrian news agency quoted Syrian military sources as saying that at about 1:23 a.m. local time on the 7th, Israel fired several missiles at the container storage area of Latakia port. The video shows that a fire appeared in the container storage area of Latakia port, and a fire truck arrived at the scene. There are no reports of casualties caused by the attack. Latakia governor Hilal said firefighters had put out the container fire caused by the attack. According to the British based Syrian Human Rights Watch, the containers attacked belonged to Iranian supported militias. Recently, Israel has repeatedly attacked targets in Syria. After the outbreak of the Syrian civil war, the Israeli army has repeatedly attacked targets in Syria on the grounds of attacking Iranian military facilities. Both the Syrian and Iranian governments deny that Iran has troops in Syria. (outlook new era)
