After the holiday, let's first determine where your fire is
2025-02-12
During the holiday season, there is a trend of eating big fish and turning black and white upside down, which breaks the original way of life. After the holiday, the body may easily become irritable, with the most common being "getting angry". However, before putting out the fire on our body, we need to first figure out where the "fire source" is hidden. In fact, the seasonal changes in weather have a significant impact on the body's self-regulation of physiological functions. People who eat too much spicy and greasy food, such as steaming hot pot, big fish and meat, or when the indoor environment is relatively dry due to heating, are prone to "overheating". Traditional Chinese Medicine believes that Shanghuo belongs to the category of heat syndrome, which refers to the imbalance of yin and yang in the human body and the vigorous internal fire, resulting in thermal symptoms such as dry mouth, bitter mouth, sore throat, oral ulcers, yellow urine, etc. In general, upper body fire can be divided into two categories: "solid fire" and "virtual fire". Based on their clinical manifestations, they are commonly classified as "lung fire", "stomach fire", "heart fire", and "liver fire". We can adjust the functions of qi, blood, yin, yang and viscera by taking orally the tea substitute or Tonic Diet for nourishing yin and clearing heat, purging fire and detoxification, or by using acupoint massage and other methods, so as to achieve the goal of "eliminating fire".
