On April 26, 2024, at the World Leading Science and Technology Park Development Forum of the 2024 Zhongguancun Forum Annual Meeting, Zhongguancun Medical Equipment Park was awarded the plaque as one of the first batch of characteristic industrial parks shortlisted for the "Zhongguancun Characteristic Industrial Park". As of now, China Medicine Valley has obtained recognition for three "Zhongguancun Characteristic Industrial Parks", becoming an important gathering area for the development of Beijing's biopharmaceutical characteristic industries. COFCO Daruixing Life and Health Industry Park is positioned as a specialized park for cell and gene therapy, and is an important part of the CGT industry cluster. Currently, it has signed contracts to gather cutting-edge innovative projects such as Gene Qiming, Yitai Pharmaceutical, and Puhuasaier, involving cell therapy drugs such as iNKT and PAK, AAV virus vector gene therapy drugs. It is building a globally leading AI driven nucleic acid delivery system, mRNA sequence design platform, OpenCGT open platform and other professional technology platforms, and is fully committed to building a national level CGT industry innovation center; Yaogu No.1 is a modern biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry demonstration park that integrates research and development, enterprise incubation, production and manufacturing functions, and supporting life services. It has gathered cutting-edge enterprises such as Kanglong Huake Medical, Baihui Biology, and Aotaikang Beijing CDMO Center. In recent years, the Daxing Biomedical Industry Base, known as the "Chinese Medicine Valley", has continued to make efforts in the integrated development model of "technology, medicine, finance, and services" industries, focusing on the forefront of biomedicine, deepening the "3+5" subdivision track, promoting the development of vaccines, traditional Chinese medicine, and high-end medical equipment industries, and achieving innovative breakthroughs in areas such as cell gene therapy, nucleic acid drugs, medical aesthetics, innovative animal drugs, and synthetic biology. Daxing Pharmaceutical Base takes the construction of characteristic industrial parks as an important focus, continuously building and improving an industrial innovation and development support system based on underlying technology platforms, service platform ecosystems, and financial service systems.
