Staying up late drinking strip the skewers stomach cancer, targeting young people?

Recently, data released by the National Cancer Center shows that the annual incidence of gastric cancer in China exceeds 350000, ranking fifth among all malignant tumors; The death toll exceeds 260000, ranking third among malignant tumors, and the incidence of diseases among young people is on the rise. What lifestyle factors are prone to causing stomach cancer? How to achieve early screening and treatment? Is endoscopic treatment scary or not? Recently, a reporter from Beijing Youth Daily interviewed Xing Jie, Deputy Chief Physician of the Digestive Center at Beijing Friendship Hospital affiliated with Capital Medical University. She reminded that adhering to a healthy lifestyle, improving quality of life, managing stress reasonably, and conducting regular physical examinations are effective measures for preventing and treating stomach cancer. Irregular diet and rest Why is the incidence rate of gastric cancer getting higher and higher at the late stage of 29 year old gastric cancer? Xing Jie stated that in recent years, people's living standards have improved and their health awareness has been enhanced, and gastrointestinal endoscopy has become increasingly popular. At the same time, endoscopic diagnosis and treatment technology is constantly improving, and the detection rate is increasing. It is worth noting that there is indeed a trend of younger onset of gastric cancer, with many people diagnosed with advanced gastric cancer in their 20s or 30s. Xing Jie found that such young patients are not uncommon in outpatient clinics. Recently, 29 year old female white-collar worker Chen Ming (pseudonym) was diagnosed with advanced gastric cancer at Friendship Hospital. Chen Ming has been experiencing stomach discomfort for a long time, but he has not paid attention to it. After giving birth, he found that the symptoms became increasingly severe, and he became thinner and less energetic. After arriving at Friendship Hospital, it was Xing Jie who performed her gastroscopy examination. During the operation, it was found that the patient had a large area of gastric cancer, which was already in the late stage. The opportunity for endoscopic surgery was lost, and only a portion of the stomach could be surgically removed. Although life has been saved, it also affects the quality of life in the future. Looking back at Chen Ming's daily life, there are many risk factors: due to the high pressure of work and life, his diet for three meals a day is always irregular, and his eating speed is fast, with insufficient chewing, which invisibly increases the burden on his stomach. I usually order takeout when I am busy with work, and I love to eat high oil, high salt, and high sugar foods. I consume less fresh fruits and vegetables. Busy work also affects daily routine, often staying up late and lacking sleep. Gastric cancer may be related to these unhealthy lifestyle habits. Xing Jie said that some unhealthy lifestyles can easily increase the risk of developing gastric cancer. In terms of dietary habits, high salt and high oil foods, as well as pickled and grilled foods, may contain carcinogens such as nitrite and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, which can irritate the gastric mucosa. The antioxidants and vitamins in fresh vegetables and fruits help protect the gastric mucosa, but insufficient intake may also increase the risk of stomach cancer. Nicotine in alcohol and tobacco can also stimulate the gastric mucosa, increasing the risk of cellular carcinogenesis. In addition, high mental stress and staying up late can affect gastric acid secretion and gastric mucosal repair, which is not conducive to stomach health. Many young people are always ready to call on friends and go out to drink strip the skewers in the middle of the night. In fact, high-temperature roasting and cooking of meat may produce carcinogens such as polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, which can stimulate the gastric mucosa, causing damage, inflammation, and ulcers. High salt foods can increase the oxidative stress response of the gastric mucosa, leading to cell damage and gene mutations, all of which can increase the risk of cancer. Helicobacter pylori is also one of the influencing factors. It is generally believed that Helicobacter pylori infection may be related to chronic gastritis, as this bacterium secretes a toxin that destroys the protective barrier of the gastric mucosa, leading to inflammation and ulcers, which should be treated promptly. Gastroscopy is not as scary as imagined. Gastroscopy is a key means of detecting gastric lesions. The digestive tract is a hollow organ, and conventional imaging methods such as CT and B-ultrasound have low diagnostic accuracy. Early detection of digestive tract lesions is often achieved through endoscopic examination. In recent years, with the continuous development of endoscopic technology, there have been breakthroughs in both detection, diagnosis, and treatment. Endoscopic examination can not only detect early lesions, but also make judgments on the boundary, nature, and depth of invasion of lesions through some magnifying endoscopy, ultrasound endoscopy, and other methods. Doctors can make decisions based on this whether minimally invasive treatment under endoscopy is needed. Gastrointestinal endoscopy is very necessary. "Xing Jie reminds that people over 40 years old should undergo gastrointestinal endoscopy regularly. If the first examination is not a problem, the interval between examinations can be appropriately extended. If problems are found during the preliminary examination, regular follow-up examinations should be conducted based on pathological results and medical advice. However, there are still some people who resist undergoing endoscopy. Xing Jie said that from the outpatient perspective, the concern of most patients is that in the past, ordinary gastroscopy was performed in a non anesthetized state, and after the endoscope entered the body, it would cause nausea and vomiting, making patients prone to fear; Some young people feel that colonoscopy examination of private parts is embarrassing; Some people are afraid of safety and worry about adverse reactions. Although endoscopy is an invasive examination, it is actually very mature and the incidence of complications is very low. Professional doctors will definitely operate it under the premise of ensuring safety, and generally will not cause harm to the body. "Xing Jie said that with the development of painless endoscopy technology, the examination is also improving towards comfort." Basically, it is equivalent to doing gastrointestinal endoscopy after a nap
