The Publishing Integration Development Forum of Beijing Publishing Group Publishing Media Research Institute, with the theme of "Innovation Road of Publishing Integration from the Perspective of New Quality Productivity", was recently held in Beijing. Multiple industry experts and renowned scholars were invited to participate. Ma Guocang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of China News and Publishing Media Group, believes that artificial intelligence has brought unprecedented new opportunities to the publishing industry. "However, we must always be clear that high-quality content is the absolute mainstay, and new technologies and formats are the wings. Only by strengthening the main body and inserting the wings, and doing a good job in innovation, can we achieve high-quality takeoff of the publishing industry on the new era and new journey." In the context of the new era, we should develop new quality productivity according to local conditions. Specifically, in the publishing industry, we need to make efforts in three aspects: first, "use" technology to empower development; The second is to integrate technology and accelerate the pace of media integration; The third is to "embrace" technology and have independent intellectual property rights. From the perspective of Hang Min, Vice Dean of the School of Journalism and Communication at Tsinghua University, and with detailed data, he elaborated on the unique opportunities that artificial intelligence will bring to the development of the publishing industry. She believes that the era of artificial intelligence big models is expected to fully unleash the value of data assets in the publishing industry, promote the reshaping of the publishing industry's industry chain and value chain, and bring new growth models to the publishing industry. "Under the policy background of new quality productivity, the technological background of artificial intelligence, and the historical background of the publishing industry's own high-quality content, the publishing industry is bound to usher in new development, and we need to be prepared." Li Honggu, general manager of Sanlian Life Media Co., Ltd. and chief editor of Sanlian Life Weekly, took the content production and advertising revenue of Sanlian Life Weekly as an example, pointing out that in the context of the all media era, there is no clear boundary between content and advertising, and publishing institutions should not only focus on the content of electronic, but also explore how to produce content using the Internet. "In the vast ocean of the Internet, cultivating its own unique and special core competitiveness is the key to the survival of publishing institutions." Jiang Zhanfeng, general manager of Xingyi Science and Technology of People's Communications Press, said that AIGC is a revolutionary and disruptive technology for the publishing industry, which can provide great help for the construction of all media resources in the publishing industry. However, there are still practical issues such as difficulty in defining copyright and lack of industry standards. "We should seize the leading role of industry standards, establish a relevant content supervision and review system, which is targeted and controllable, and this is what every publisher should call for." Gao Jinhong, former Party Secretary of Beijing Institute of Printing and Technology, believes that new quality productivity is a theoretical innovation. From its core elements, developing new quality productivity is also the direction that the publishing industry insists on promoting and developing. "In the era of all media, Internet plus+and AI+, we must actively face, embrace and innovate, or we will be eliminated." Li Yongqiang, secretary of the Party Committee and chairman of Renmin University Press, said that in the era of all media, various new technologies have brought challenges to the publishing industry, but also brought us new ways of thinking and creative opportunities. We need to respond to new changes, further strengthen the subjectivity of editors, enhance their screening and control abilities, utilize artificial intelligence tools, and have the ability to discern and control content in the era of all media
