A new type of Russian frigate is installed in the Northern Fleet

On the 11th, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that the new frigate "Admiral Golovko" was installed in the Russian Navy's Northern Fleet. On the same day, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced on social media that the Russian Navy's 22350 frigate, Admiral Golovko, arrived at the northern fleet base dock in the city of North Morsk from St. Petersburg. During a welcome ceremony held at the dock, Commander of the Northern Fleet of Russia, Moisheyev, said that the inclusion of the Admiral Golovko added a combat unit to the Russian Navy and Northern Fleet. The 22350 frigate is built using advanced technology and equipped with high-precision missile weapons such as new hypersonic missiles, elevating the Russian military's surface combat capabilities to a new level. Admiral Golovko is the third 22350 type frigate of the Russian Navy, designed by the Northern Design Bureau and built by the Northern Shipyard in St. Petersburg. It was previously tested in waters such as the Baltic Sea and the Barents Sea. The 22350 escort ship is 135 meters long, 16 meters wide, and has a displacement of approximately 5000 tons.
