On the 27th, the People's Liberation Army stationed in Hong Kong adopted a pull exercise approach, deploying some troops from land, sea, and air forces, organizing joint patrols, and focusing on enhancing the combat capabilities of the troops in areas such as rapid planning, emergency deployment, special situation handling, and joint operations. This joint patrol covers multiple branches of the military, including highly mobile infantry, ships, helicopters, etc., and is implemented in a coherent manner according to practical requirements. The main exercises include the establishment and planning of command posts, sea and air patrols, interception and verification, land and air patrols, battlefield rescue, and other course contents. In practical and adversarial exercises, command, communication, and coordination are practiced, effectively enhancing the planning and command capabilities of the troops and joint operations. Throughout the joint patrol process, the stationed troops strictly complied with the laws and regulations on roads, waterways, and aviation management in Hong Kong, and notified relevant departments of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region government in advance.
