On December 10th, 2023, the National Swimming Championships will start in Jinan, Shandong Province. As the highest level and highest standard event in the Chinese swimming industry, this event is not only a selection round for the 2024 Doha World Swimming Championships, but also an important warm-up event for the Paris Olympics. Over the course of six competition days, 537 swimmers from 28 domestic teams will compete. On the first day of the competition, Chinese swimming leaders such as Wang Shun, Zhang Yufei, Qin Haiyang, Xu Jiayu, Pan Zhanle, Yu Yiting, Li Bingjie, Yan Zibei, Fei Liwei, and Tang Qianting made brilliant appearances. After the opening ceremony, the 2023 National Swimming Championships held finals in eight events, including the women's 200m individual medley, men's 400m freestyle, women's 100m butterfly, and men's 50m butterfly.
