On November 27, 2023, the 27th Fuzhou City Arts and Crafts Innovation Design "Ruyi Cup" Grand Prix held its opening ceremony at the Xiangjie Smart Industrial Park in Fuzhou, Fujian Province. The inheritors of intangible cultural heritage projects such as wood carving, cork painting, and bodiless lacquerware competed in talent on site, effectively promoting the inheritance and development of Fuzhou's arts and crafts. It is understood that the "Ruyi Cup" Grand Prix was founded in 1986. This year's Grand Prix continues the theme of "craftsmanship and innovation", with entries covering many traditional craft categories such as Shoushan stone carving, jade carving, wood carving, root carving, bamboo carving, cork painting, bodiless lacquerware, and lacquer painting, effectively promoting the spirit of Fuzhou's arts and crafts culture and enhancing the city's cultural soft power.
