At present, the construction of the first floor of the main structure of the new Zhuhai Space Center building is being accelerated, aiming to achieve the goal of capping the main structure by the end of the year, to ensure that it is completed and put into use before the opening of the 15th China Air Show in 2024. The new building of Zhuhai Space Center is undertaken by China Construction Third Engineering Bureau and is an optimization and upgrading project for the China Aerospace Exhibition venue. The new hall has a construction area of approximately 76300 square meters and a height of approximately 40 meters.
