On June 13, 2024, the Beijing Hangzhou Dialogue "Millennium Canal Journey" was launched on the banks of the Beiyun River in Tongzhou District, Beijing. After the launch ceremony, a wind gathering team consisting of representatives from "New Marco Polo", "Beijing Grand Canal Experience Officer", and representatives from domestic and foreign media will depart from the Daguanglou Pier in Tongzhou, Beijing, and head south along the Grand Canal.
