On June 12th, at the Palais des Nations in Geneva, Switzerland, United Nations Secretary General Guterres delivered a speech at the Global Leaders Forum of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development. The United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) held a Global Leaders Forum at the Palais des Nations in Geneva, Switzerland on the 12th to commemorate the 60th anniversary of its establishment. The theme of this forum is "Drawing New Development Routes in a Changing World" and will continue until the 14th. During the forum, representatives from multiple governments, heads of international organizations, and experts in the economic field will discuss how the world can respond to new challenges in trade and development, focusing on topics such as digital economy, investment, industrial policies, and global value chains.
