The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) and the Beijing Temple of Heaven Hospital (Beijing Temple of Heaven Hospital) affiliated with Capital Medical University signed a strategic cooperation agreement on the 8th. The two sides will jointly cultivate medical talents with both research and clinical abilities, promote the integration of cutting-edge technology and clinical medicine, and accelerate the transformation and application of scientific research results in clinical practice. According to the agreement, both parties will launch a key talent training program within the year. Doctors selected to join the program from Beijing Temple of Heaven Hospital will receive scientific research training as visiting scholars at the University of Science and Technology of Hong Kong. They will have the opportunity to participate in cutting-edge research projects, learn the latest research methods and technologies, and enhance their research and clinical practice abilities. In addition, both sides will jointly carry out research in fields such as neuroscience, artificial intelligence, biomedical engineering, and actively promote the transformation of cutting-edge technology into clinical applications.
