Spain establishes the European Center for the Promotion of Traditional Chinese Medicine Culture. On May 7th, the European Center for the Promotion of Traditional Chinese Medicine Culture held its unveiling ceremony in Madrid, Spain. The center was jointly established by the Spanish Zhihua Lecture Hall School of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Yunnan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Chinese Ambassador to Spain Yao Jing, founder of Spain's Zhihua Lecture Hall Marcelo Munios, Chairman of Zhihua Lecture Hall Traditional Chinese Medicine School Ramon Caldut, and President of Yunnan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Ding Zhongtao attended the opening ceremony. Yao Jing delivered a speech at the opening ceremony, stating that Zhihua Lecture Hall Traditional Chinese Medicine School has always adhered to the concept that "traditional Chinese medicine is a gift from China to the world", and has been committed to promoting traditional Chinese medicine in Spain for a long time. This has not only helped local patients, but also promoted cultural exchanges between China and the West. I believe that after the establishment of the European Center for the Promotion of Traditional Chinese Medicine Culture, it will be able to actively promote the dissemination of traditional Chinese medicine in Spain. Ramon Caldut, Chairman of Zhihua Lecture Hall Traditional Chinese Medicine School, stated that the school has reached an agreement with Yunnan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine to send teachers from Spain and Latin America to Yunnan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine for study in the coming years. Ding Zhongtao, President of Yunnan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, stated that the university established a branch of Yunnan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Catalonia in 1991 and continuously selected traditional Chinese medicine teachers to teach in the West. In the future, the university will rely on the platform of the European Center for the Promotion of Traditional Chinese Medicine Culture to expand the promotion of traditional Chinese medicine in Europe and Latin America.
