On the 6th, the founding ceremony of the New Entrepreneurs Association was held in Hong Kong. The members of the Federation cover enterprises in fields such as artificial intelligence, high-end manufacturing, and biotechnology, hoping to leverage synergies and jointly promote the development of new quality productivity in Hong Kong. The Federation is founded by Xu Li, co-founder and CEO of Shangtang Technology, and Secretary General Shang Hailong, founding president of the Hong Kong High Talent Service Association and member of the Legislative Council of the Special Administrative Region. Shang Hailong expressed the hope that the establishment of the federation can help a new group of growing entrepreneurs integrate into Hong Kong, extend their business to Hong Kong, and use Hong Kong's advantages to "go abroad". He stated that currently, the total market value of member enterprises of the Federation is close to 140 billion yuan, and the total sales in 2023 are nearly 40 billion yuan. During the ceremony, the Secretary for Labour and Welfare of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, Sun Yuhan, stated that since the government launched the "High end Talent Pass Program", the talent it has attracted has had a positive impact on Hong Kong's economy and society.
