According to the Tourism Bureau of the Macao Special Administrative Region Government, the signed project involves 107 domestic and foreign enterprises, covering cooperation projects in 7 categories including tourism, health, aviation, academic research, and wedding celebrations. The three-day exhibition attracted over 37000 visitors. Tourists from all over the world have once again gathered in Macau, showcasing the professionalism and influence of the Tourism Expo. This year's Tourism Expo attracted 668 participating companies and units from 54 countries and regions, and held 55 product and tourism destination promotion events and forums. Nearly a hundred representatives from overseas travel agencies associations and about 500 specially invited buyers from various regions came to Australia to participate in industry negotiations. Some operators also participated in inspection activities in Macau and Hengqin, experiencing the "tourism+" elements of Macau and the different tourism resources of Hengqin firsthand. There are many highlights in the mainland exhibition area. The Asian Tourism Exchange Center has assisted in organizing the participation of 19 provinces, regions, and cities in mainland China, continuously serving the prosperity and recovery of the tourism market from Hong Kong and Macao to the mainland. The concentrated exhibition area in mainland China of this Travel Expo covers an area of 875 square meters, and the overall design concept of the exhibition area adopts a book scroll style, bringing an immersive exhibition experience to the audience. The exhibition area stage arranges multiple cultural and tourism promotion and performance activities every day, with exciting performances such as Henan Shaolin Kung Fu, Inner Mongolia Song and Dance, Jiangsu and Chongqing Tourism Promotion, and continuous applause on site. The exhibition area also showcases relevant content to enhance the convenience of inbound tourism to the incoming audience. In addition, based on the cultural and tourism resources and route products accumulated over the years and in combination with the interests of Hong Kong and Macao residents, the Asian Tourism Center, with the theme of "the Year of the Loong Longxiang Tour", has deeply explored the cultural and tourism quality resources of the mainland, Hong Kong and Macao that contain the word "dragon", and launched 28 tourism routes to the market at the Travel Expo. As one of the highlights of this year's Tourism Expo, the Tourism Bureau of the Macao Special Administrative Region Government and the Economic Development Bureau of the Hengqin Guangdong Macao Deep Cooperation Zone jointly organized the "Aoqin Outdoor Camping Industry Salon" and the "2024 Aoqin Camping Festival" in a "one exhibition, two locations" model for the first time, fully extending the advantages of the professional platform of the Tourism Expo and showcasing the synergistic effect of "one exhibition, two locations" in Aoqin. It is reported that starting from this year, the Macau Travel Expo will be held in April every year, allowing exhibitors from all over to seize opportunities before the summer vacation and further improve their participation efficiency.
