On the evening of April 28th, the opening ceremony of the Bai'etan Dawan District Art Center was held in Liwan District, Guangzhou. It is reported that the Bai'etan Greater Bay Area Art Center, which integrates the Guangdong Art Museum, Guangdong Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum, and Guangdong Literature Museum, will open to the public on May 1st. The White Goose Pond Great Bay Area Art Center was designed by the team of South China University of Technology led by He Jingtang, an academician of the CAE Member, with a total floor area of about 145000 square meters. It is committed to creating a "landmark of Lingnan culture, a destination for public leisure, and a reception hall for communication in the Bay Area". The Baiyetan area of the Guangdong Art Museum is home to 21 exhibition halls and a vast public art area, showcasing over 900 works by over 700 artists from home and abroad. The Guangdong Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum includes three sections: a basic exhibition area, a special exhibition hall, and an inheritance workshop, showcasing representative projects of national and provincial intangible cultural heritage as well as achievements in protection and inheritance practices. The Guangdong Literature Museum has ten major functional blocks and ancillary rooms, including the literary achievement exhibition area, the literary works reading area, and the "the Belt and Road" International Literature Exchange Center. In the highly anticipated "Lu Xun Family" themed exhibition hall, there are miniature models of Sanwei Bookstore and Xu Guangping's former residence. That evening, the White Goose Pond Greater Bay Area Art Center held a variety show called "Goose Pond Songs", with music, dance, traditional Chinese opera, and other programs being staged one after another.
