The Ministry of Public Security deploys the "Fox Hunting 2024" special operation

Recently, the Ministry of Public Security deployed national public security organs to carry out the "Fox Hunting 2024" special action to arrest fugitive overseas economic suspect. The "Fox Hunting 2024" special operation is an important component of the "Skynet 2024" operation deployed by the International Office of the Central Anti Corruption Coordination Group for Pursuing and Pursuing Smuggling and Cross border Corruption Governance. The public security organs will increase their efforts to tackle key cases of fugitive and stolen goods in accordance with the deployment requirements, effectively improve the quality and efficiency of fugitive and stolen goods recovery work, and deepen and expand channels for law enforcement cooperation. The relevant officials of the Ministry of Public Security stated that the national public security organs will fully implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the Second Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee, and from the perspective of safeguarding national interests and security, carry out the "Fox Hunting 2024" special operation in depth, better serve the central anti-corruption struggle and the battle against major risks, and effectively maintain national security and social stability. Since 2014, the Ministry of Public Security has organized national public security organs to carry out "fox hunting operations" for ten consecutive years, achieving significant results. With the coordination of the Central Fugitive Recovery Office and the strong support and assistance of relevant departments, the "Fox Hunt" has captured more than 9000 fugitive economic suspect from more than 120 countries and regions in the past decade, recovered nearly 49 billion yuan from stolen goods, and made positive contributions to promoting the comprehensive rule of law.
