2024-04-16

The reporter learned from China Aerospace Science and Technology Group that at 12:12 on April 15th, the Long March-2D carrier rocket ignited and took off from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, and then launched the commercial optical remote sensing satellite 4D Gaojing-3 01 into its designated orbit. The launch mission was a complete success. The four-dimensional Gaojing-3 01 satellite was developed by the Eighth Academy of Aerospace Science and Technology Group. This satellite is the first optical remote sensing satellite in China to have both wide and high-resolution capabilities. It has a super wide width of over 130 kilometers and provides a combination of 0.5 meter resolution and 9-band image data products. It can efficiently serve emerging markets such as digital agriculture, smart water conservancy, and digital cities, as well as fields such as land and resource investigation, urban management, environmental protection, disaster prevention and reduction, and maritime safety, providing users with high timeliness and performance spatiotemporal information services. The innovation of this satellite adopts high-density compression storage technology, onboard autonomous intelligent technology, high-speed high-order phased array transmission technology, high-performance multispectral integrated detector technology, high-precision uncontrolled positioning technology, etc. It combines the characteristics of intelligence, flexibility, superior performance, and intensive reliability. Its technical indicators have reached the leading domestic and international level in commercial remote sensing satellites. The Changerding rocket is a room temperature liquid two-stage carrier rocket developed by the Eighth Academy of Aerospace Science and Technology Group. It has the ability to launch single and multiple satellites with different orbital requirements at the three major satellite launch centers of Jiuquan, Taiyuan, and Xichang. Its solar synchronous orbit carrying capacity at an altitude of 700 kilometers is 1.3 tons. (Lai Xin She)
