Jiangxi Nanchang: the Central Asia Express "Nanchang Khorgos Kazakhstan" departs

2024-04-01

On March 31, 2024, a Central Asian train loaded with daily necessities such as refrigerators, coffee machines, and ceramic sanitary ware slowly departed from Nanchang International Land Port in Jiangxi Province. This is the first Central Asian train to be shipped from Nanchang this year. The train is expected to leave Khorgos Port for the first time in about 6 days, pass through Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and other Central Asian countries along the way, and finally arrive in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan, which will shorten the travel time of about 12 hours compared with the original traditional departure from Alataw Pass, and will effectively reduce the logistics costs of foreign trade enterprises. It is of great significance for Jiangxi to build a new international logistics channel and accelerate the construction of a new highland for opening up inland areas. (Lai Xin She)
