On March 31st, the Hong Kong Jiangsu Association of Societies announced that Tang Yingnian, a member of the Standing Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and the founding president of the Hong Kong Jiangsu Association, recently led the association to visit Jiangsu. He met with the association's president, Yao Maolong, to meet with provincial and municipal leaders and corporate units, discuss cooperation between the Soviet Union and Hong Kong, and promote the development of new quality productivity. The Hong Kong Jiangsu Association of Societies revisit a 4-day trip, visiting Nanjing, Wuxi, and Suzhou from March 28th to 31st. After the return visit team arrived in Nanjing on the 28th, Tang Yingnian led its members to visit and visit Jiangsu Suhao Holdings Group, a large state-owned enterprise group under the provincial jurisdiction. Both sides have conducted exchanges on deepening cooperation in multiple fields and promoting the integration of the Soviet Union and Hong Kong. Tang Yingnian believes that there is great potential for deep cooperation between Suzhou and Hong Kong, and looks forward to the group promoting the landing of more cooperation projects. On March 29th, the follow-up delegation attended the "Suzhou Hong Kong Innovation and Technology Cooperation Salon", which was jointly organized by Nanjing University, the Hong Kong Jiangsu Association of Societies, and the Jiangsu Industrial Technology Research Institute. The Innovation, Technology and Industry Bureau of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government was one of the supporting units. The cooperation salon focused on "Biomedical and Big Health" and was shared by experts from Nanjing University, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, the University of Hong Kong, and the biotechnology market. During this period, the Shanghai Tang Junyuan Education Foundation held a donation ceremony for Nanjing University and established the "Nanjing University Suzhou Hong Kong Science and Technology Innovation Cooperation Special Fund". Tang Yingnian stated that the establishment of the Nanjing University Su Hong Kong Science and Technology Innovation Cooperation Special Fund aims to provide more opportunities for Nanjing University scholars, especially young scholars and scholars from Hong Kong, to cooperate and exchange ideas in science and technology innovation. Tang Yingnian hopes to use this fund as a bridge to explore more possibilities with Nanjing University in the future, and jointly create a new situation of technological innovation and even all-round cooperation.
