Russian presidential election voting officially begins

On March 15th, local residents lined up in Vladivostok, Russia to register and vote in the presidential election. The polling stations located in the eastern end of Russian territory, including the Kamchatka Territory and Chukotka Autonomous Region, opened at 8:00 am local time on the 15th, and the 2024 Russian presidential election voting officially began. According to data released by the Central Election Commission of Russia, approximately 110 million Russian citizens have the right to vote, of which over 1.8 million reside abroad year-round. Russia has set up over 90000 polling stations for this election, and each polling station will be open from 8:00 to 8:00 local time on the 15th to 17th. (Lai Xin She)
