On March 9th, at the invitation of the National Theatre, the original modern Yunnan opera "Loyalty" was performed at the National Theatre Theater in Beijing. "Loyalty" is based on the heroic deeds of Zhang Congshun and Zhang Ziquan, the national "public security model" and "Yunling model", as well as the father and son heroes. The story of Peng Taizhen (the wife of Zhang Congshun and the mother of Zhang Ziquan) is the main storyline, connecting the heroic stories and loyalty of the father and son generations, revealing the psychological journey of the women behind the model, depicting the great emotions and righteousness behind the choice of life and death, and praising the good family tradition of the police home. Director Wang Qing said that "Loyalty" slowly unfolds in a fluid and dreamy static visual way, like a movie full of modern atmosphere, and also like stories happening around our lives. The play leads the audience to appreciate the power of bravery, justice, and perseverance in their beliefs through the experiences of family, marital, brotherly, and comradeship. This drama invites renowned domestic experts such as Gong Xiaoxiong, the head of the Shanghai Huai Opera Troupe and a national first-class screenwriter, and Wang Qing, the national first-class director of the Shanghai Peking Opera Theater, to join in the creation. It has been included in the Yunnan Province Provincial Major Key Theme Creation Support Project and won the "Excellent Drama Award" at the 17th Yunnan Province New Drama (Festival) Exhibition. Since last year's rehearsal, 16 performances have been completed. It is reported that this exhibition is another realistic theme play created by Yunnan Dianju Theater, following the opening performance of the Yunnan opera "Zhang Guimei" as an "intangible cultural heritage opera variety exhibition" at the National Grand Theatre.
