2024-03-04

Recently, the Sui Yang Emperor Mausoleum Site Park located in the urban area of Yangzhou City, Jiangsu Province, opened for trial operation, attracting many tourists to visit. It is reported that the main building of the site park is divided into the imperial tomb site and the museum. Among them, the Sui Yang Emperor Mausoleum Site is located in the center of the park, and its appearance is inspired by the "dou" style of imperial tombs from the Sui and Tang dynasties, combined with the traditional form of the roof of the building, and is praised by experts as the "landing crown". The original site of the museum displays the brick chamber tombs of Emperor Yang of Sui and Empress Xiao, as well as star charts, sand tables, 3D screens, and more. At the same time, there are also scenic spots around the Sui Yang Emperor Mausoleum site, such as the Qingshi Langjian, Sui Tang History Exhibition, Qiong Flower Garden, and Sui Emperor Poetry Stele. The museum is located on the northwest side of the park. The museum comprehensively uses methods such as graphics, text, physical objects, model scenes, sound, light, and multimedia interaction to systematically display the history of the Sui Dynasty and the exquisite cultural relics unearthed from the archaeological excavation of Emperor Yang's Mausoleum. At present, the Sui Yang Emperor Tomb Site Park has become another iconic cultural and tourism landmark in Yangzhou City that integrates site protection, archaeological research, tourism, leisure, education, and other functions.
