The Sports Exchange Year has come to a successful conclusion. This year marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Russia. Looking back on the road we have walked, we have withstood many storms and tests together. Looking ahead to the future, China Russia relations are facing new development opportunities. China is willing to continue to uphold the spirit of mutual assistance and generations of friendship with Russia, and work together to write a new chapter in China Russia relations. Both sides need to cultivate new momentum for cooperation between the two countries, maintain stability in the industrial and supply chains, jointly host the China Russia Cultural Year, hold cultural exchanges that connect the hearts of the people, are grounded, and have warmth, and continuously tighten the spiritual bond between the two peoples. Both sides should support Kazakhstan in hosting this year's Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit, enhance unity and mutual trust, safeguard regional security and stability, and safeguard the common interests of regional countries. China actively supports Russia's assumption of the rotating presidency of the BRICS countries in 2024, and is willing to strengthen international multilateral cooperation with Russia, practice true multilateralism, advocate for an equal and orderly world multipolarity and inclusive economic globalization, promote the development of the global governance system towards a more just and reasonable direction, and make positive contributions to the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind.
