The first industry standard in the field of intangible cultural heritage in China has been released. Please collect this "work manual". The reporter learned from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism that recently, the first cultural industry series standard in the field of intangible cultural heritage in China, "Digital Protection of Intangible Cultural Heritage Digital Resource Collection and Description," has been approved and released by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. This standard was drafted by the China Academy of Arts (China Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Center) and is mainly used to guide and regulate the collection and cataloging of digital resources for representative projects of various categories of intangible cultural heritage in China. Intangible cultural heritage is an important component of China's excellent traditional culture. Protecting and inheriting intangible cultural heritage is of great significance for continuing historical context, strengthening cultural confidence, and building a socialist cultural power. For a long time, China has lacked relevant standards for the digital protection of intangible cultural heritage. With the widespread development of business practices, the industry has an increasingly urgent need to introduce relevant standards and norms, guide work awareness and practice. Strengthening standardization research in the collection of intangible cultural heritage data and promoting the development of relevant standards and norms has been included in the "14th Five Year Plan for the Protection of Intangible Cultural Heritage". This series of standards is drafted and compiled in response to the needs of intangible cultural heritage protection work in the context of the digital and information age. The standard specifies the overall requirements for the collection and description of intangible cultural heritage digital resources, and specifies the business and technical requirements for the preparation, implementation, and resource description of digital resource collection plans for intangible cultural heritage representative projects in ten categories (folk literature, traditional music, traditional dance, traditional drama, quyi, traditional sports, entertainment and acrobatics, traditional art, traditional techniques, traditional medicine, and folk customs), totaling 11 parts. The standard was prepared and drafted in May 2011. For over a decade, the compilation of standards has followed the standardized workflow in China, adhering to the principles of professionalism, applicability, and openness, gathering collective wisdom, and serving the overall work situation based on industry needs. Nearly a hundred experts and scholars in the fields of intangible cultural heritage protection, standardization, and informatization from the China Academy of Arts (China Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Center) and relevant universities and research institutions have deeply participated in the drafting and argumentation of standards. Some provinces and cities have participated in the pilot collection of standards. Relevant domestic intangible cultural heritage protection institutions and social groups have put forward opinions and suggestions on the preparation of standards. The standard summarizes and refines the content and corresponding requirements that should be collected and described for various categories of intangible cultural heritage projects. It is not only a "manual" for understanding intangible cultural heritage projects, but also a "guide map" for disassembling and refining work tasks, with dual significance at both theoretical and practical levels. The introduction of standards will help intangible cultural heritage protection institutions and practitioners to correctly understand the principles and concepts of intangible cultural heritage protection. When facing various forms of intangible cultural heritage projects, they will accurately grasp the direction and key content of collection and cataloging work, improve the scientific, standardized, and standardized level of recording work, and assist in the confirmation, filing, research, preservation, protection, inheritance, promotion, promotion, and revitalization of intangible cultural heritage. There are over 100000 intangible cultural heritage projects under the fourth level intangible cultural heritage list system in China, and their digital resource construction and management work can be used as a reference. The application prospects of the standards are very broad. In the long run, the introduction of standards is crucial for the inheritance and development of excellent traditional Chinese culture and the protection of intangible cultural heritage in China in the new era
