The new Sanxingdui Museum was put into trial operation on the 27th. There are more than 1500 pieces (sets) of cultural relics on display in the new museum. In addition to the precious cultural relics unearthed in 1986, such as the No.1 Bronze Divine Tree, which were moved to the new museum, there are nearly 600 cultural relics that were first seen by the audience, including more than 300 cultural relics unearthed from the six newly discovered "sacrificial pits" in Sanxingdui and more than 200 cultural relics unearthed from the No.1 and No.2 "sacrificial pits" in 1986. The exterior of the new Sanxingdui Museum was photographed on July 17. An Yuan, a reporter from China News Service, photographed the new Sanxingdui Museum, which has a building area of 54400 square meters and an exhibition area of 22000 square meters. It is the largest single building of heritage museums in Southwestern China at present. The new building is designed with the concept of "stacking three stars, the eye of ancient Shu". The three earthen mounds arranged along the central axis symbolize "stacking three stars", and the blue glass curtain wall forms a huge "eye of ancient Shu". The building continues the classic spiral curve of the original Bronze Museum, forming a museum community with a unified style and integrated image with the existing exhibition hall. The exhibition in the new museum is divided into three chapters: "Century Pursues Dreams", "Lofty King City" and "Heaven, Earth, People and Gods". It uses a rich combination of cultural relics and visual, auditory and other means of expression to display the Sanxingdui's "past and present" and the latest results of archaeological excavation and research in an all-round and multi-level way. According to reports, the cultural relics of this "new exhibition" can be regarded as the biggest highlight of the new museum. After 3000 years, all heavy objects such as the "integrated" bronze bird foot statue, the "Moonlight Treasure Box" bronze turtle back shaped grid shaped vessel, and the "twisted head kneeling figure" that "leaves the circle as soon as you leave" will be exhibited. In addition, the exhibition of the new Sanxingdui Museum has used naked eye three-dimensional new media technology, multimedia sand table, etc. to improve the exhibition experience. The audience can also see multiple national treasures such as bronze altars, bronze animal riding statues, and their digital virtual restoration achievements. (New News Agency)
