From Cambodian rice to Thai perfume coconut, to Vietnamese passion fruit, durian... Since the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (RCEP) came into force, more and more agricultural products from ASEAN countries are entering the Chinese market more conveniently, enriching the Chinese table. Many operators of agricultural enterprises in ASEAN countries said that with the gradual implementation of a series of RCEP rules, the cost of intra regional trade has been significantly reduced, and the level of trade facilitation has been further improved, so that they can enjoy real benefits. Tariffs are favorable. Trade facilitation has been significantly improved. For agricultural producers in ASEAN countries, one of the major advantages of RCEP's entry into force is that tariff reduction brings about lower import costs and increased export opportunities. According to the agreement, more than 90% of goods trade in the region will eventually achieve zero tariff, which greatly promotes cross-border trade. "We are no longer worried about export orders as before, and the industrial chain adjustment brought by RCEP has helped our agricultural products to develop more markets in the Chinese market," said Thai coconut trader Naronsa. Naronsa's company has entered the Chinese market since 2013, and its sales volume has increased several times in just a few years. China has become the main export market of its coconut products. Since this year, Vietnam Passion Fruit and Durian have been allowed to enter the Chinese market. "This is good news for Vietnam, which has rich fruit resources." Du Shiqiu, a lecturer at the Vietnam Banking Institute, said that he hoped that more Vietnamese agricultural products could be exported to China in the future, giving play to the complementary advantages of resources between the two countries, making full use of RCEP, and promoting the continuous development of bilateral trade relations. "The general reduction of import tax under RCEP is a great benefit to Cambodia's agricultural development," said Chen Qisheng, general manager of China Inspection and Certification Group Cambodia Co., Ltd. Efficient and convenient cross-border freight volume increased significantly from late October, and Cambodia's jasmine rice entered the harvest season. The cargo ship loaded with fragrant rice starts from Sihanouk Port or Phnom Penh Port and arrives at Shekou Port in Shenzhen, China within a week. After passing the inspection and quarantine of the port customs, the fragrant rice with the size of 5kg can be directly put into the retail channel, and the rice with the size of 25kg or 50kg in large package can be put into the wholesale link, which can be supplied to large grain users, or it can be put on the market after being repackaged by rice processing enterprises. China is one of Cambodia's largest rice export markets. According to the statistics of Cambodia Rice Federation, Cambodia exported more than 230000 tons of rice to China in the first October of this year, accounting for nearly half of its total exports. In recent years, with the promotion of major projects such as the new land sea channel in the west and the China Laos railway, the supporting infrastructure such as the cold chain and cold storage in the region has been continuously improved, and the agricultural products of ASEAN countries have become increasingly convenient to enter the Chinese market. Take Durian, Thailand, for example. In addition to entering the Chinese market by air, you can also choose land transportation or sea transportation from Linchaban Port to Qinzhou Port, Guangxi, China, Nansha Port, Guangzhou Port and other places. Relevant data shows that in the first 10 months of this year, the rail sea intermodal trains of the new land sea channel in the west transported 621,026 TEUs of goods, a year-on-year increase of 19.7%. At present, the transport categories of rail sea intermodal trains in the new land sea channel in the west have increased from more than ten kinds of ceramics and plates to more than 640 kinds. According to the statistics of China Railway Kunming Bureau Group Co., Ltd
