On October 10, at the "Striving for a New Era" themed achievement exhibition held in the Beijing Exhibition Hall, a newly unearthed bronze human head from Sanxingdui was exhibited to the audience for the first time. It is reported that this bronze statue was unearthed in the No. 8 Pit of Sanxingdui in July 2022. It is a representative bronze artifact of Sanxingdui culture, demonstrating the exquisite casting technology and superb plastic arts of ancient Shu civilization. It will be exhibited in Beijing for three months, so that the audience can see the latest achievements of Sanxingdui archaeological research. (Liu Xinshe)
