The Honduras Energy Investment Forum jointly organized by the Global Energy Internet Development Cooperation Organization, the Honduran Ministry of Energy, the Honduran Ministry of Finance and the Honduran Embassy in China was held in Beijing on the 12th. The forum attracted more than 20 representatives from Chinese enterprises and institutions in the energy, power, equipment, engineering, finance and other industries to participate. During the forum, the Global Energy Internet Development Cooperation Organization signed a letter of intent with the Honduran Ministry of Energy to further promote cooperation between the two countries in renewable energy technology innovation, electric transport and other fields, and help the development and transformation of energy and electricity in Honduras. The signing of a letter of intent for cooperation in the energy sector by both sides will contribute to the utilization and development of renewable energy in Honduras. Honduran Finance Minister Cristian Duarte stated that Honduras sincerely invites the Chinese government and enterprises to actively participate in the bidding and project construction of the country's national power infrastructure projects. Qiu Xiaoqi, the Special Representative of the Chinese Government for Latin American Affairs, pointed out that this forum, as an important event of the Fourth Ministerial Conference of the China Latin America Forum, is of great significance in promoting energy exchange and cooperation between China and Hong Kong. The construction of energy Internet is a key area for the joint construction of the "the Belt and Road", and China Hong Kong and China Latin America energy cooperation has great prospects. Xin Baoan, Chairman of the Global Energy Internet Development Cooperation Organization and Chairman of the China Electricity Council, said that Latin America is rich in clean energy resources and has a good foundation for regional energy cooperation.
