Recently, the 910th Hospital of the Joint Logistics Support Force selected and trained experts in injury prevention and treatment to carry out mentoring activities at the grassroots level. Unlike before, this training was not held at the grassroots health team of the military, but at a local township health center. Previously, these health centers had signed agreements with the hospital to establish "pre medical points". After nearly an hour's drive, the author and the expert group successfully arrived at the Shengxin Town Health Center in Nan'an City, Fujian Province. As soon as they got off the car, the experts were busy according to their division of labor. Some go to the consultation room to assist local medical staff in scientifically and accurately handling injuries step by step; Some carry out theoretical lectures, combining graphic and textual demonstrations with practical operations, to explain to the medical backbone of township health centers the essentials of bandaging, fixation requirements, and precautions during transportation for injured patients after fractures; Some go to the ward to teach ward rounds, discuss cases, and strengthen the diagnosis and treatment level of medical staff. Since last year, the hospital has been actively exploring the military civilian cooperation treatment model to address the situation where some small and remote units of the military are far away from the system hospital and suffer from acute and severe injuries during training, which can easily delay the best treatment time and cause "secondary damage" due to hasty transportation. The hospital has extended the treatment tentacles to the front line of the training ground, actively signed treatment agreements with several township health centers closer to the military training ground, and established "pre medical points". We hope to receive scientific and accurate treatment as soon as officers and soldiers encounter sudden injuries. ”Group expert and director of the intensive care medicine department of the hospital, Li Yixin, told me that the hospital organizes similar mentoring training activities every week. In addition, in order to enhance the rescue capability of the "pre medical point", the hospital has also established a 24-hour remote online system to ensure that military officers and soldiers can receive scientific treatment and prompt treatment at nearby township health centers in a timely manner. The establishment of 'pre medical points' not only saves us time commuting to and from the hospital, but also provides us with round the clock security for our daily training, making future training more reassuring. ”Liu Haiyun, a soldier from a certain army composite brigade who had just completed training injuries at the health center, praised it. Extending the medical support chain to the training ground and enhancing the treatment capabilities of the 'pre medical points' are essential to better serve the military. ”The hospital leaders introduced that currently, they have signed "pre medical point" treatment agreements with more than 20 township health centers. In the future, they will also send training on injury prevention and treatment to more local health centers to effectively ensure the physical health of officers and soldiers in the small scattered and remote military units.
