The "Digital China Development Report (2024)" released by the National Data Administration at the conference shows that China accounted for 61.5% of the 45000 newly disclosed generative artificial intelligence patents worldwide in 2024. The rise of domestic artificial intelligence contributes "Chinese wisdom" to the world. Xiong Jijun, Deputy Minister of Industry and Information Technology, said that in 2024, China's digital industry will achieve a business revenue of 35 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 5.5%. The native HarmonyOS system has become the third largest mobile operating system in the world, and significant progress has been made in areas such as integrated circuits, Beidou scale applications, and new displays. In the digital field, over 4000 specialized and innovative "little giant" enterprises have been cultivated. Multiple departments are further deploying efforts to further unleash the potential of digital economy development and promote innovative development of digital technology. The "National Data Resource Survey Report (2024)" released at the meeting showed that in 2024, the national data production reached 41.06 zettabytes (ZB), a year-on-year increase of 25%, and the process of marketization and value transformation of data elements further accelerated. Especially, the development and utilization of enterprise data resources have accelerated, with a year-on-year increase of 22.73% in the total amount of active data.
