Wuhai is a city located in the northwest, surrounded by deserts and the Yellow River. From a high altitude, the Yellow River flows through the city from south to north, leaving behind a jade like Wuhai Lake. Wulanbuhe in the west, Kubuqi in the east, and Maowusu in the south. This city with desert and sandy land on three sides is supposed to be yellow, but Mother River seems to have paid more attention to it. When entering the the Inner Mongolian Plateau, the temperament becomes "gentle", passing through the city, leaving a surging 105 km water line. Nowadays, a large number of tourists come every year to experience the rare desert scenery. In summer, the sand by the lake is filled with tourists. They ride camels, ride bikes, take short videos, and enjoy poetry and distant places. Sand and water bring a special charm to the Wuhai, but it is best known for its underground "wujin" - coal. Decades of time have passed, and the 'Sea of Wujin' has written a beautiful story of development with mines first and cities later. With the increasing awareness of ecological protection, the previously gray faced Wuhai has made up its mind to change the appearance of the mining area. After years of governance, grass seeds have sprouted in the loess, and the mine has gradually turned green. In this city born from coal, yellow sand and blue waves "join hands", industry and ecology coexist, constantly writing new chapters of development. (New Society)
