China Vietnam Coast Guard launches first joint patrol in Beibu Gulf in 2025

Yesterday afternoon, the Chinese coast guard Yongxing ship and Xisha ship went to the waters of the Beibu Gulf to form a fleet with Vietnamese coast guard ships 8004 and 8003 to conduct the first joint patrol of the Beibu Gulf this year. During the joint patrol, both sides will carry out law enforcement and supervision of the operating vessels of the two countries in the Beibu Gulf area, regulate the order of maritime fishery production operations, properly handle maritime emergencies, and jointly maintain maritime stability.
