Spexer series radar. According to foreign media reports, German defense company Hensalt has officially launched a new radar anechoic chamber. This is the first step for the company to expand its radar production plan. The radar anechoic chamber can perform fully automatic far-field and near-field measurements on active electronic scanning array antennas, which is one of the high requirements in the production evaluation of radar systems. The new radar anechoic chamber can significantly shorten the detection time of radar antennas, assisting the company in tripling the production of Spexer series radars in the next three years and moving towards large-scale production. The Spexer 2000 radar is a multi domain surveillance radar system developed by Hensalt Defense for complex threat environments on the battlefield. It can detect and classify threats in land, sea, and coastal areas. This radar adopts X-band pulse Doppler radar technology and active electronic scanning array, which can automatically detect and identify ground and air threats, providing situational awareness support for ground air defense, battlefield surveillance, border protection, and maritime security tasks. At present, the radar has been integrated into Rheinmetall's Skyranger30 anti-aircraft vehicle. In addition, there is a Spexer 2000 3D MKIII variant radar designed specifically for land missions, mainly used for ground air defense and anti drone operations, and also suitable for mobile operations, with the ability to scan while moving and 360 ° coverage.
