Recently, the 23rd batch of medical personnel from China's peacekeeping force to Lebanon carried out a free medical consultation activity in the Kurela village of the mission area, providing free diagnosis and treatment services to local villagers. In the mission area where medical resources have been scarce for a long time, Chinese peacekeeping military doctors have fulfilled their humanitarian mission through practical actions, winning widespread praise from the local people. At the free clinic site on that day, officers and soldiers came to the patrol medical point to conduct systematic examinations, disease diagnosis and treatment, and health consultations for 37 villagers. More than 80 boxes of various medicines were distributed for specific illnesses, and the dosage and usage methods were carefully explained to the patients. Fadia Arjundi, the head of the Social Affairs Center at the Kurela Village Medical Station, expressed gratitude to the Chinese detachment for their continuous support and hopes to continue working together in the future. Fadia Arjundi said that Chinese military doctors not only brought much-needed drugs, but also confidence in overcoming diseases. The local area has long been short of medical supplies, and the recent tense situation between Lebanon and Israel has led to an even greater shortage of medical resources. The continuous professional medical support of Chinese peacekeeping forces has built a solid barrier to safeguard the health of villagers. It is reported that since their deployment, this batch of peacekeeping forces has fully utilized the two platforms of "fixed-point reception+mobile inspection", adopting a combination of setting up fixed medical points and conducting village inspections to continuously carry out humanitarian medical assistance activities. We have received more than 1000 patients and organized 4 surgeries, greatly alleviating the problem of difficult access to medical care for local villagers. (New Society)
