The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology recently issued the key points for the work of industrial and information technology standards in 2025. The key points of the work are proposed to focus on building a modern industrial system, continuously improving the construction of emerging industry standard system, forward-looking layout of future industry standard research, formulating more than 1800 industry standards, and establishing more than 5 standardization technology organizations for emerging and future industries. The key points of the work are clear, focusing on strengthening the safety bottom line of industrial development, compiling guidelines for the construction of mandatory national standard systems for industry and information technology, and organizing the compilation of more than 100 mandatory national standards. Around promoting the globalization of industries, we support more than 100 international standards formulated by Chinese state-owned enterprises and institutions, and the conversion rate of international standards in the entire industry has reached 88%. Key work points are proposed to optimize and improve new generation information technology standards such as cloud computing, big data, blockchain, and Beidou navigation. Accelerate the construction of a new information infrastructure standard system and promote research on standards such as 5G-A, low altitude information infrastructure, 6G, and quantum secure communication. Conduct standard research on metaverse, brain computer interface, quantum information, humanoid robots, generative artificial intelligence, biomanufacturing, advanced computing, future displays, future networks, and new energy storage.
