The rescue team includes earthquake experts, structural engineers, search and rescue team members, medical team members, and search and rescue dog teams, equipped with life detectors, demolition equipment, and field hospital systems, and can independently carry out high-intensity rescue operations in two directions of the earthquake area for 72 hours. The China International Rescue Team was established in 2001 and has participated in more than 20 international rescue missions, including the Indonesian tsunami and earthquakes in Pakistan and Nepal.
