The "Anhe Changle - Ancient Auspicious Culture Exhibition" opened on the 26th at the Shanghai History Museum, selecting 131 cultural relics from the Tianjin Museum collection, covering categories such as porcelain, jade, fabrics, calligraphy and painting, showcasing the ancient people's love for life and praise for life from multiple perspectives. Good and good; Xiang, Fu. As an important component of traditional Chinese culture, auspicious culture reflects the observations and expectations of ancient people towards life. The creation of ancient Chinese auspicious cultural relics with this theme reflects the emphasis and hope for natural requirements such as "fortune", "wealth", "longevity", "happiness", and "wealth". Among them, "fu" is the most abundant, concentrated, and typical representative of auspicious meaning; 'Lu' reflects the ancient people's yearning for superior social status and a worry free life; 'Shou' reflects people's appreciation for life; 'Happiness' captures the beautiful moments of life; 'Wealth' reflects people's desire to be prosperous and stable under their own efforts and the protection of the gods. Viewers can intuitively interpret the spiritual world of ancient people from the design patterns of auspicious cultural relics. If "Lu" sounds the same as "Lu", it means high officials and generous salaries; The "Baoxiang Flower" is often dominated by peonies or lotus flowers, with round beads arranged at the base of the flower core and petals, resembling sparkling jewels, symbolizing auspiciousness and happiness; The phrase 'peace with elephants' implies peace in the world and favorable weather conditions. Elephants have a long lifespan and are regarded as auspicious beasts. Due to the homophone between the bottle and peace, auspicious decorations are often used as elephant carrying treasure bottles. For example, in the exhibition hall, the colorful Liu Hai Playing with the Toad painting of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty depicts the auspicious pattern of "Liu Hai Playing with the Golden Toad", interpreting the ancient pursuit of "wealth". Legend has it that Liu Hai once subdued the Golden Toad, causing it to spit out money and help the poor everywhere. Therefore, it is regarded as a deity who blesses and brings wealth, and the Golden Toad has also become a auspicious beast for spitting out treasures and making wealth. It is reported that this exhibition is jointly organized by the Shanghai History Museum and the Tianjin Museum, and will last until June 2nd. The museum stated that the widespread popularity and reasonable application of auspicious culture in ancient society originated from the people's careful observation and infinite love for life; The belief and consciousness of auspiciousness encourage people to actively face life and pursue a happy life. I hope that through this exhibition, the audience can experience the charm of traditional culture behind material culture. (New Society)
