Objective credit evaluation is an important guarantee for the development of enterprise operations. On the 17th, the Supreme People's Court released six typical cases of judicial protection of corporate reputation rights, involving different fields such as traditional industries, intermediary industries, technology enterprises, credit reporting agencies, etc., reflecting the comprehensive and equal protection and timely relief of corporate reputation rights by the people's courts. These cases include: a dispute over online infringement liability between a real estate brokerage company and Yang, a dispute over reputation rights between a beverage company and a media company, a dispute over online infringement liability between Company C, Company A, and Company B, a dispute over online infringement liability between a technology company and Li, a dispute over online infringement liability between an automobile manufacturing company and Ma, a dispute over reputation rights between a certain internet company, a certain internet company, a certain catering company, and a certain food company. Strengthening the judicial protection of corporate reputation rights is of great significance for enhancing corporate confidence, stabilizing corporate expectations, and motivating entrepreneurs to start businesses and innovate. In one of the cases, Yang, as the operator of a self media account in the real estate industry, posted "black articles" during the normal operation of a real estate brokerage company, defaming the company's reputation. The People's Court has ordered Yang to bear tort liability and maintain a fair and orderly market environment. In practice, many acts of infringement on reputation rights are carried out through the internet, which has the characteristics of fast dissemination and wide impact. In a case, the evaluator made false statements online without actual evaluation, causing damage to the reputation of the company. The determination by the people's court that the perpetrator has committed infringement helps to clarify the reasonable boundaries of evaluating speech, avoid inappropriate speech damaging the reputation of the enterprise, and at the same time regulate and guide the development of the evaluation industry towards goodness. At the same time, some media outlets release false information about companies for the purpose of gaining traffic and attracting attention. In a case, a media company released false information about the operating conditions of a beverage company without conducting a thorough investigation and verification, creating hot topics and creating buzz, which had a negative impact on the company's operations. The People's Court has ordered a certain media company to bear liability for reputation infringement, which not only protects the rights and interests of the damaged enterprise, but also helps to regulate the behavior of online media and build a healthy and clear cyberspace.
