At present, the approval process for the overall planning of national land and space at the provincial, municipal, and county levels has been basically completed, and the work of national land and space planning has entered the stage of comprehensive implementation. This round of planning implements the requirements of speeding up the transformation of the development mode of mega cities, gives play to the role of source governance and systematic governance, comprehensively implements the new development concept, adheres to the people as the center, coordinates development and security, promotes the harmonious coexistence of man and nature, plans the overall development and protection pattern of land and space, promotes the modernization of governance system and governance capacity of mega cities, and provides solid support for promoting Chinese path to modernization.
