The production and sales of new energy vehicles have ranked first in the world for 10 consecutive years. In the past 10 years, the annual production and sales of new energy vehicles in China have jumped from tens of thousands to millions, and the products have been exported to more than 70 countries and regions, becoming a "beautiful business card" of Chinese manufacturing. The data released at the meeting shows that the performance, industrial system, and ease of use of new energy vehicle products in China have been further improved, with an average range of nearly 500 kilometers. China has established a complete and efficient industrial system with a full chain, supplying 70% of battery materials and 60% of power batteries to the world. In addition, 12.818 million charging stations and 4443 battery swapping stations have been built, forming the world's largest charging network. Fast charging technology, which charges 80% in 15 minutes, has been mass-produced and applied. Zhang Yunming stated that the next step will be to accelerate breakthroughs in key core technologies such as new system batteries, implement preferential policies such as car trade ins and new energy vehicle purchase tax reductions, formulate guidance to promote the development of battery swapping models, explore the management of automobile carbon emissions and the carbon footprint of automobile power storage batteries, promote international mutual recognition of accounting standards and results, study and carry out enterprise group management of complete vehicles, support advantageous enterprises to improve quality, efficiency, and strength, standardize market competition order, and continuously optimize the industrial ecology.
