2025-01-21

According to the China Manned Space Engineering Office, at 1:12 am Beijing time on January 21, 2025, after about 8.5 hours of extravehicular activity, the crew members of Shenzhou-19 spacecraft, Cai Xuzhe, Song Lingdong, and Wang Haoze, worked closely together with the support of the space station's robotic arm and ground researchers to complete tasks such as installing space debris protection devices and inspecting extravehicular equipment and facilities. Astronauts Cai Xuzhe and Song Lingdong have safely returned to the Wentian experimental module, and their extravehicular activities have been a complete success. As of now, the "space business trip" of the Shenzhou-19 astronaut crew is about halfway through, and a large number of scientific and technological experiments will be carried out in orbit in the future. A few days later, the crew of Shenzhou 19 will usher in the Spring Festival of the Year of the Snake in a busy working state, guarding the "space home" of Chinese people in remote space and watching the lights of the earth home.
