On January 15th, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued the "Notice on Carrying out the Special Action for Small and Medium sized Enterprises to Go Overseas Services" (hereinafter referred to as the "Notice"). The notice proposes to carry out special actions to promote the systematic supply of overseas services in various regions based on actual conditions, organize service institutions to accurately connect with small and medium-sized enterprises with overseas intentions, provide professional services, help small and medium-sized enterprises explore international markets, smooth information channels, enhance risk prevention and control capabilities, and effectively promote the international development of small and medium-sized enterprises. The notice proposes six key areas of work, namely policy entry services, market development services, international talent services, management improvement services, cross-border financial services, and rights protection services. Among them, in terms of market development services, the notice requires all regions to sort out information on advantageous industries, establish communication channels and cooperation mechanisms with target country (region) industry departments, platform institutions, upstream and downstream enterprises in the industrial chain, etc., and encourage small and medium-sized enterprises to "go global together". Intensify support for small and medium-sized enterprises to participate in international exhibitions and events, organize various cross-border matchmaking activities, and accurately connect with overseas customer resources. Intensify research and coordination efforts on overseas technical standards, technical regulations, etc., accurately match the overseas technical cooperation needs of small and medium-sized enterprises, and carry out international standard testing and certification services. The notice encourages cloud service providers to provide high-quality cloud service guarantees for small and medium-sized enterprises to go global. Encourage Internet platforms, new media, etc. to give full play to their advantages in brand, market, channel, technology, and computing power, and help SMEs expand overseas markets and expand brand influence. Give full play to the resource advantages of international service institutions in Hong Kong and Macao, and help small and medium-sized enterprises "borrow ships to go abroad". (New Society)
